miss america's gotta go

the pageant, that is. i know it's supposed to be about the platform and all. but it's sexist and outdated. and as one writer pointed out, it's not even entertainment anymore.

disclaimer: my sis and i used to TAKE NAPS so we could stay up late and watch crap like that. we even graded the contestants. but we also watched "fantasy island" and "love boat," so there you go.

(i played catchup tonight on my blog, so i had to get some kind of liberal "dig" in somehow. the rest is all good, clean fun.)
